Contract, Contract to Hire, Direct Hire and Payroll options

RFIDJobs4U offers four staffing options:
  • Contract – our RFID4U division or our client makes the hiring decision based on the small select group of qualified candidates we present and sets the duration of the contract which is normally 3 or more months. Some contract jobs can go on indefinitely depending on the project needs or we do on occasion need “on-call” senior consultants that can generally work remotely. RFIDJobs4U becomes your employer and issues your paycheck and is responsible for all mandatory taxes and insurances.
  • Contract to Hire – you begin the job on a contract basis but the client reserves the right to hire you directly to their staff after a period of time we have negotiated with our client. You of course are always free to accept or reject their offer.
  • Direct Hire – our client requests that you join their staff from day 1. You will be involved directly in salary / benefit negotiations with support and advice from RFIDJobs4U if you request.
  • Payroll – you’ve found a contract opportunity on your own but the hiring company has a policy of not working with independent (or 1099) contractors due to liability issues. This is a fairly common practice which limits legal and tax risks for the employer. RFIDJobs4U will hire you as the employer of record with a significantly reduced fee to your client and assume the payroll, legal and insurance responsibilities.

Q –How Does It Work?
A – Just Let Us Know you’re looking or will be looking for a position. We’ll need an up-to-date resume. Standard formatting is OK but please no fancy stuff or text boxes. If you are a match for a current job or for a skill set that we are frequently looking for one of our recruiters will contact you right away.

Q –Will You Ever Send My Resume To Anyone Without Contacting Me?
A – Never. And, we’ll always tell you who our client is – that’s necessary for your decision.

Q – Are There Ever Any Fees Involved?
A – Never

Q – What Happens After I Give Permission To Send My Resume To One Of Your Clients?
A – Our recruiters will compose a comprehensive cover letter and forward your resume and the letter to the account manager. The account manager knows our client the best. He or she will review your resume and may add more notes to the cover letter to help “sell” you to the hiring manager. Your resume is either emailed or hand delivered to the hiring manager. Then we wait. Sometimes minutes, other times a week or more as hiring managers go through their decision making process. We constantly stress speed to our clients because we know you have other options. We’ll follow-up every few days on your behalf. If you are selected for an interview you’ll get a call from your recruiter who will update you from there. If not, we’ll let you know.

Q – How Long And Where Are The Contract Jobs?
A – It depends. For the most part, contract jobs are full-time 40 hours per week and last a minimum of 3 or more months with some contract jobs lasting several years. We’ll let you know the anticipated (but not guaranteed) duration during our initial conversations to help in your decision. RFIDJobs4U works globally but the majority of our clients are located through-out the U.S.

Q – How Much Am I Paid?
A – Your recruiter will ask you the pay rate range you are looking for and may offer some advice on the going rate in the RFID market for your skill set and experience. We will only contact you regarding jobs in or over your rate range.

Q –What Happens When A Contract Job Ends?
A – We will be there for you while you’re on contract and be in frequent contact a month or so before your job is completed to make sure you get all your new experience on your resume and start working with you on upcoming jobs.

Q –How Does Contract To Hire Work?
A – Some of our clients like to check out people for an extended time rather than completely relying on just an interview. This also allows you to check them out! Typically the time period is 3 to 6 months or so. If it looks like a fit, you’ll work out your pay and a time to transition directly with the employer.

Q –Does RFIDJobs4U Provide Me With Relocation Costs?
A – Not normally but each client and situation is different. For direct hire positions many of our clients offer to help out with or cover relocation costs. If you are working out of your home area on a contract job, a per diem may be available to you to help defer the costs of maintaining two households. Your recruiter can give you the details.
